Nell Parry, soprano
Nell Parry is 17 and started singing lessons with Elizabeth Brice aged 5. Nell was understudy Grasshopper in Janacek The Cunning Little Vixen in the Glyndebourne Festival in 2012, and currently attends Brighton College as a music scholar. She is a member of Glyndebourne Youth Opera and played the part of Belinda in the Glyndebourne Youth Opera production of Purcell Dido and Aeneas in August 2015. As a member of Viva Voce, a choir of nine 11-18-year-old girls, Nell has sung at St John Smith Square with Jean Rigby, Mark Padmore and Felicity Lott, and as a member of the Rodolfus Choir, at the Royal Festival Hall. In 2016, Nell was shortlisted for Glyndebourne’s inaugural Gus Christie Award for a young singer who has demonstrated outstanding vocal talent. Currently, she is considering a career in music and opera.
